The best horror movies of all time

25. An American Werewolf in London (1981)

Directed by John Landis
Marked as useless crap after /? Yes

Little Boy English: "A naked American man stole my balloons."

In many ways the horror genre is more difficult to define in terms of quality. Maybe you grew up in the 30's and Mom after limping see someone for the first time (seriously, what kind of catches) bejeezus scared of you;? or crawled under his seat when he saw the birds in the '60s, an era where horror revitalized through a new set of concepts and Alfred Hitchcock ... Well, Alfred Hitchcock (although to be honest I always thought that this bird was a bit much ... That's really what is keeping people in the night.?) Or Boobage teen off at 70 / 80 gore and slasher movies free. Maybe you're a fan of Japanese horror and shudder pasta, children had their eyes bulging and new forms of thinking it's strange to kill people. Or maybe see the new age horror movie - which makes integration scenarios and character development.

In other words, any approach on a big ol '- horror classic of a person is another crap.

Speaking of shit, that land on our first entry: American Werewolf in London. I think John Landis has a similar view in horror as I: that horror movies are not really scare people ... can be cooled, can be rejected may make you wonder why you're laughing at something so sick ... But do not panic.

Thus, a werewolf, who fixes the black humor thick in the storm ... Orc-ish soldiers firing machine a young family to watch the Muppets, the best friend killed the main character, who appears in the movie continuous decaying etc., and each time you let go of the ridiculous to think the film is purely a person is mutilated. Dulce.

The effects are particularly bad (as were and are much more than the current date) and the quality is terrible ... but I would like to start a marathon of horror with this just to clean my palate.

24. The Devil's Rejects (2003)

Directed by Rob Zombie
Clouded by unnecessary remake / shit? This is technically a sequel.

Otis B. Driftwood: Boy, the next word that comes out of your mouth better than some Mark Twain shit brilliant. Because it certainly is chiseled on your tombstone.

It has always been a relationship between horror and heavy metals. The dark themes, dressed in black, the excesses of the stop. Whoever does not take a genius to deduce that someone changes the name of Rob Zombie is obsessed with sex. And boy is that ever a whore Poobah.

The trend in horror films over the last 10 years has been increasingly intense indifferent acts of depravity, torture porn brutal Japanese popularized in the Saw movies. What separates rejects Devil is also the point of view. Most movies are told of torture from the perspective of victims. Zombie is the center of the psychopathic anti-hero movie, personalities and stories that are the root and sympathetic.

Zombie presents these characters in House of 1000 Corpses, but the film was over-the horror stupid movies in the vein of Dead wrong so it was easier to laugh and just at the door. This is particularly worrying because of its severity. Zombie Shooting with one hand in contact with reality really amplifiers torture scenes. That would throw his wife as one of the main characters Zombie shows how it is. Sheri Moon Zombie is stirred so that during part of the production had to take 2 days off to recover. Now, who is metal. And this is the baby of terror.

23. Suspiria (1977)

Directed by Dario Argento
Clouded by unnecessary remake / shit? Yet .*

Dr. Frank Mandel: Bad luck is not brought by broken mirrors, but by broken spirits.

Sure, you can see Suspiria on a sunny day with some friends and choose the movie completely, Aside from all its flaws - absolutely atrocious dialogue and stilted acting, among others. But will sit on the couch in your account at midnight and thrown into ... tell me not keep you awake the rest of the night (which is damn sure not going anywhere near the window of his bathroom).

This is the point, and the brightness of the Italian horror legend Dario Argento, is supposed to feel rough and false. His goal is to create a surreal nightmare, full of vivid images and a soundtrack totally intrusive. Unlike too many films where the profitability (ie death) is the focal point on Argento creating a sense of menace and suspense - leaving the scene and stay until it more - and not get up until the film is more (and more). Molto Bene.

[* Editor's Note: inexplicably, Argento is said to be planning their own remake. Details are illegal. Inexplicabllier, Natalie Portman is rumored to be released. Natalie Portman? What's next ... Shia LaBeouf in the sequel to Wall Street? Oops ...]

22. The Descent (2005)

Directed by Neil Marshall
Clouded by unnecessary following / shit? Yes .*

Beth: I am an English teacher did not fucking Tomb Raider.

During the 5-10 In recent years, a new generation of filmmakers began to investigate the films of terror, seeking to honor (and better) rose movies. Along the way, they realized that having a decent plot and characters really care that really matter. I see a thousand co-editors are cut to ribbons dog Jason and not feel an ounce of emotion in it ... as they have their top off, everything is good. But put a group of strong-minded, women capable of complex lives and families and personalities ... Well, suddenly his survival means something else.

Drop centers around six friends who meet in a remote part of the Appalachians for their annual caving trip (more of a climbing trip, but I like using caving of the word). The beauty of the film is that during the first 40 minutes is nothing but women and the drama that ensues they go their caving. Then, of course, the Chuds come. And you know when it Chuds involved, I am baby.

As fun as it is (sorta) root of evil, if not is throwing for the protagonist ... not in the hope that something good will prevail ... well, then most of the time will not only be convincing. And Neil Marshall did a great job setting the table for these characters, so that when they fulfill the creatures, which almost want to take a pic and help.

Note Editor [: this film was called cavers or better Again, Spelunker! If it was not less than 5.]

[Editor Note * # 2: Looking at the clips of the film, I learned that The Descent 2 will be opened this year. The trailer seems particularly garbage, so you can be one and done for this franchise.]

21. Session 9 (2001)

Directed by Brad Anderson
Dull as a result useless / crap? No.

Doctor: And where you live, Simon?
Mary Hobbes: I live in the weak and wounded Doc ....

There two main types of horror movie. This is not the slasher gore fest. And there's the atmosphere Creepy supernatural thriller. Session 9 What is a horror film is that, halfway between the two sexes. It's a nice balance by young super-talent director Brad Anderson (The Machinist, Transsiberian).

It begins as strange as a group of workers in asbestos removal work begins in a mental hospital abandoned long and underused setting this horror movie is really the main character. It is particularly well done, because the film succeeds because it without feeling that the place is haunted, it avoids the pitfalls of simple ghost story. Most of history is largely a psychological horror series to hold the crew. But towards the end, the film becomes a coin in a violent and bloody slasher. This seems strange, but in reality is quite explosive.

20. The Devil's Backbone (2001)

Directed by Guillermo del Toro
Clouded by unnecessary suite / crap? No.

Casares: What is a ghost? A tragedy condemned to repeat again and again? A moment of pain, perhaps. Something dead which still seems to be alive. An emotion suspended in time. As a blurred. Like an insect in amber.

Guillermo del Toro is to make films that transcend gender boundaries. Hellboy's Labyrinth Pan, and the lesser known Spanish spookathon. They work in fantasy, comics and horror movies respectively, but also provide much more to the table. Bolder, more imaginative themes grander.

Of course, it seems strange bowed child killed in the massacre. And yes, there are many dark tunnels, floating corpses, and even an unexploded bomb by magic, apparently by magic supsended. It's a horror movie, after all. But it is also the disintegration of morale during the war, especially the Spanish Civil War, which was also the scene of acclaimed Labyrinth Del Toro's critically Pan. Fascist sympathizers, war profiteers, error "rebels". Ultimately, the ghosts are the victims, and those children wants his freaky revenge.

19. The Shining (1980)

Directed by Stanley Kubrick
Clouded by unnecessary follow / crap? No.

Grady daughter: Come play with us Danny, forever and ever and ever

When you think of the classic images of history a horror movie, it's amazing how many are from The Shining. Discover some of the iconic images.

Forever and ever and ever ...

All come from the spirit of Stanley Kubrick's visual genius capricious, who took Stephen King novel about alcoholism and twisted into a meat grinder classic elements Les horror movies. And without doubt the best horror film ever made in research.

18. Pet Sematary (1989)

Directed by Mary Lambert
Clouded by unnecessary crap after /? Yes

[Talking on the phone]
Gage: First game with Judd, then Mommy came, and I played with mom. We play Daddy! We had a great time! Now I want to play with you!
Luis: What did you do?
Gage: Hee hee ...
Luis: What did you do?!?

Stephen King is a very twisted bastard. People refer to him as the king of horror (and given the fact that four of his works are adapted in this list, it's hard to argue). What distinguishes it is the exception is not so much their ability to leave n out "you afraid, but really torn.

There are times where I get chills ... Pet Sematary echogenic just sort of live in my spine begin again when I begin to think of the movie.

Some of the macabre scene any movie ever: those with the sister of cerebro-spinal and then the conversation he had with his father revived (and now murderers) child. Add to this the fact that the criminal Fred Gwynne is underused in this field and it's gold Jerry, gold!

17. Scream (1996)

Directed by Wes Coward
Marked by sequences unnecessary / shit? Yes

Stu: I want to see breasts. I want to see Jamie Lee's breasts. When we see Jamie Lee's breasts?
Randy: Breasts? It was not until "Trading Places" in 1983. Jamie Lee was always a virgin in movies terror. She did not show her boobs' til I went legit.

It's funny ... in some respects, it feels so Grito play now. Has been forged and copied again and again ... But in 1996, the industry has been revitalized horror film everything that is popular, more interesting and profitable.

And because of renewed popularity, we have more talented writers who seek to gain new perspectives on the kind of the horror ... and a (ie, talented, popular and / or) real actors on board to launch projects.

But this is not ... is a damn movie well, too. The opening scene, which in turn is a "Reboot" (to steal a current / popular / annoying term) the most frightening scenes of film history (the opening of the original "When a Stranger Calls." This film would be on this list if you know the rest of the film suck balls) is a classic. And the rest of the film follows the movement - Able to pay tribute to the genre, but a glance at its tired formula at a time.

16. The Fly (1986)

Directed by David Cronenberg
Marred by unnecessarily / crappy remake / sequels? This is a remake of the classic 1956 original

Ronnie: I do not know what you are saying.
Seth Brundle: I mean ... I mean - I'm an insect who dreamed he was a man and I loved it. But now the dream is over ... and insect awake.
Ronnie: No, no, Seth ...
Seth Brundle: I'm saying ... I'll hurt you if you stay.

Jeff Goldblum was the best nerd in the 80s. And this kind of film is corny classic tragedy. As the stories of werewolf or vampire, it is a bit penetrated the power of the animal. It's intoxicating for some time because they use their powers to pay against those who hurt in the past. But the metamorphosis continues, inhuman and degrading into something. At least in the stories of werewolves and vampires, these creatures hold key aspects of their humanity. Brundle-Fly is a grotesque, ultimately, a product of their will power and a warning about the ugly side.

15. Massacre Chainsaw (1974)

Directed by Tobe Hooper
Marred by unnecessarily / crappy remake / sequels? Yes ... at a time.

Drunk: [laughs] Things are happening here, do not tell. I see things. You see, saying that only an old man speaks. You laugh at an old man they are the ones who laughs and who knows better.

If Psycho was the ancestor of horror movies, then you're crazy uncle Slaughter.

Plot: Five friends are chased and terrorized by a chainsaw in hand, the murderer and his family of cannibals, grave-theft.

Yes it summarizes.

Hooper dominant influence in the coming decades and continues today ... the endless serial killer movies Horror / continue the style raw materials of terror (the real shit like Blair Witch Project) to "torture porn" movies like Hostel and Saw movies Rob Zombie, among others.

It is also the favorite movie of all time saw Dave in the movie Summer School. And the kids seem fine.

14. The Ring

Directed by Gore Verbinski
Clouded by unnecessary follow / crap? Yes

Dr. Scott: I do not want to hurt anyone.
Samara Morgan: But I do, and I'm sorry. No stopping.

While I have not seen Ringu, the original Japanese movie is based. Otherwise, I have a feeling that might be here (or more) ... because the Japanese are people seriously disturbed (and evil were rampant as dead. This is not racist ... it's a fact.)

However, the version U.S. does a good job. First Instead, they cast a real actress (Naomi Watts) to the head, giving the film some weight if necessary. Second, Verbinski uses lots of quick cuts and jerky images / grainy, but realistic to give all a surreal quality, a nightmare (See: Suspiria). And finally, there is a child by ... and call me stupid, but whenever you have a child at the heart of horror (eg The Shining, Pet Sematary, The Exorcist, The Fog, Poltergeist, etc.), I get a lot of Heebie Jeebies come with me.

13. Thinner (1999)

Directed by
Clouded by unnecessary suite / crap? N

Old Gypsy: Thinner ....

Another entry based on a story by the prolific pen of Stephen King, and his story subtopic. Robert John Burke stars as a lawyer representing morbidly obese boss Joe Mantegna (who?). After accidentally struck and killed an old gypsy woman with his car, then lower the water intake, plays husband gitanos''cepillos Burke and Whispers "Thinner". Of course, he was cursed and began to sleep like a harpooned whale. Initially he is delighted. His wife, who has a case, is attracted to him. However, the weight continues to drop until it begins to look like Christian Bale in The Machinist. He was ready to kill gypsies Mantegna until they agree to take the curse off. But he who knows nothing about the Roma know they have to transfer the curse to another person. Of course, all that end badly, with a flair Kingsian.

12. The Fog (2007)

Directed by Frank Darabont
Clouded by unnecessary suite / crap? N

Dunfrey Amanda: You do not have much of faith in humanity, right?
Dan Miller: No, absolutely not.
Dunfrey Amanda: I can not accept that. People basically good, decent. My God, David, we are a civilized society.
David Drayton: Sure, as long as the machines operate and can dial 911. But you take things, you throw people in the dark, you scare the crap not - no rules.

Steven King's personal cameraman Frank Darabont adaptation offers another stellar SK. It's a bit strange a talented director would base his entire career in the stories of a single author. But that's exactly what Frank Darabont has done. Darabont has directed four films in the past 15 years, of which three were adapted from Steven King. As an unusual arrangement because he was given a bit of fruit flavor. The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and this little gem.

The slim frame, a door to another dimension is accidentally opened releasing horrific beasts ordinary citizens of Maine, is the side attraction. The meat of the story is in the interaction between the trapped villagers, many are turning to religious hysteria in the light the apparently impending Apocalypse.

Marcia Gay Harden is amazing that the religious extremists who nutbar prophecies are finally being honored. The quota is rational addressed to a local artist who tries to navigate her son and daughter obligatory hot by a group of converts who seek hyterical cast the first stone. I will not give anything, but the end is perfect and beautiful packs a punch. A must for horror fans

11. Frailty (2000)

Directed by Bill Paxton
Clouded by unnecessary crap after /? N

Dad: Are you afraid?
[Fenton nods]
Dad: Who?
Young Fenton: You
Dad: Only demons should fear me and are not a devil - right?

The fragility of the species snuck on me. The day I saw a a joke, not expecting much. things slow start, two guys who live with their widowed father, who had many problems to deal the death of his wife. Then one day the father, played by Bill Paxton, wake up boys from their sleep to say an angel has given you a list of demons authorities must "Destroy." And the angel gave him also special tools to do the work, leather gloves and a rusty ax. Of course, demons out of random people in the community. The eldest son, Fenton, go like crazy for her father and refuses to participate. The youngest son, Adam, but follow blindly Paxton's example and said he could not see the sins of the victim when you touch them, like pop. Paxton Fenton put through the various work hard all day exercises until they agree to participate in the killing. The violence is pretty horrible and brutal. Fenton tries to escape in vain.

In the film, this story is an old Fenton, played by Matthew McConaghey (even in a horror film succeeds in its shirt off), a local official of the FBI, after Adam discovers he has become a serial killer. He came to turn his brother in the end, there are some macabre twists. Some do not like how the film will end, and that kind of turns the whole movie so far in your ear, but I thought it was quite impressive. It's gothic horror at its best.

10. 28 Days Later (2002)

Directed by Danny Boyle
Clouded by unnecessary follow / crap? N [yes, there was a sequel, but it was very good.]

Jim: What do you say that there is no government? There is always a government that is in a bunker or a plane somewhere!

Finally we get zombie movies! I mean, technically, it is living people who are "infected with rage" (which I think came from monkeys ... is always the crazy monkeys. Seriously, I think if we kill all the monkeys on the planet there would be no more sickness. Hmmm ... but you can learn from our land and we reverse. It would not be immediate, look ... who took their time ... wait until after a war in the world ... then in 100 years, you have Planet of the Apes. All goes to show that we are our worst enemy. What folly! You'll all be over! Damn you! God damn all to hell!]

But I digress the subject.

28 days is a great film - great director, quality players, fast paced and zombies. Not to scare ... More blend of suspense, drama and classic horror film in a little package independent. The best part is the factor rewatchability. Although I could not do or Suspiria Texas Chainsaw and over again, I could easily see this until the advanced DVD. That's fine.

9. Halloween (1978)

Directed by John Carpenter
Marked thereafter useless / shit? Number, with the addition of The Phantom Menace is probably the worst result of all time - Halloween 3 -

The Dr. Loomis Sam: I met fifteen years ago. "They said it There was nothing "No reason, no conscience, no understanding, even rudimentary sense of life or death, good or bad, true or false" I met this six years, with this blank, pale face, no emotions, and the darkest eyes the eyes of the devil * * "I spent eight years trying to achieve, and then another seven trying to keep locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply "evil * *

principle of Halloween, a faceless psychopath wreaks havoc on local sexually active adolescents has been copied and parodied so often riffed upon its release, is hardly tenable when viewed today. We've seen a thousand Once in a thousand different films. But it is easy to forget that none of these films, from Friday 13 to Cry The Strangers, there would today without Halloween. John Carpenter, for better or for worse, invented the modern slasher genre. Think of all the items we take for granted that Carpenter presented.

  • Survival conscious teens sex were stolen forever immaculate. Casto benefactors like Jamie Lee Curtis are the only that have the potential.
  • Carpenter limited budget forced him to create the invention murder pure and simple, raising the stakes creative with each death. This killer games that happened 30 years ago.
  • Carpenter also avoid explicit violence, and focused instead on the derivation of its terrors, panting and shaking the cause of death appears suddenly, a technique used so much so that it is hard to remember what was once original.
  • Put the audience in the shoes of the murderer - I think breathing and plans cut back the mask of Michael Myers.

This does not mean that every last horror films were so good as Halloween. None of them were. It is the execution (sigh), what counts. This macabre music, the archetypal mask, the perfect Jamie Lee cries. N has done better.

8. Alien (1979)

Directed by Ridley Scott
Marked by sequences unnecessary / shit? Yes [more quality, but a seriously ill # 3 and # 4]

Ash: I can not lie about their chances, but ... I have all my sympathy.

Foreigners may not seem like a horror movie for some. But that's exactly what it is ... a horror movie set in space. Even the tag line of the film are presented as such: "In space nobody can hear you scream."

Alien takes its reference sci-fi/horror old school mash-up of films like The Blob - except instead of landing on earth, is that human beings on planet earth from abroad, they become victims of his own curiosity, and then spend the rest of its running time with a force almost indestructible (The Blob not cold, do not dig outside the fire ... or be released to space ... but that's all).

The only thing I did this film is better if they went with Scott's original idea for the final - the pitting head alien Ripley in the shuttle flight, sitting in his chair and began to speak with his voice in a message to Earth. Damn. How cool would it have been? Maybe For once, we really need a new version.

7. Ôdishon (also known as hearing) (1999)

Directed by Takashi Miike
Clouded by unnecessary follow / crap? No.

Asami Yamazaki: Words create lies. The pain can be trusted.

While the Japanese horror films like Ring and The Grudge are supernatural and other in nature, hear something against mines much darker and more sinister: a woman.

I know ... I'll give you time to collect.

Synopsis: A film producer to audition for a fake movie so your friend can meet women. The man falls for a young innocent girl named Asami. Asami is not as innocent as it seems and ... Well ... that the rest of the film plays on some of the most disturbing images I ever seen.

Some parts are "real" and it seems that part of the events of the human psyche - the guilt, anger, love, sexual attraction, etc.

The film opens very slowly, allowing the characters to know ... but then we left and struck with rights that are not (and can not) see it coming.

I do not mean much ... because I ask you to go and make his own mind (in Actually, I'm not even ready for a clip of it. If you're really interested, I want you to surprise. just noticed that this is not for everyone).

A truly shocking and disturbing film.

6. Let me (2008)

Directed by
Dull as a result useless / crap? Sterilized American remake in the works.

Eli: I'm not a girl Oskar.

We all know that mega-successful Hollywood vampire Twilight franchise is in every way a disgrace to the horror genre in general. It is quite sad, especially considering the fact that in this basic story is something much darker, if you just take the rocks to explore. This story is to let me enter.

They have much in common. Both films are about disillusioned young people meet and fall in love with vampires immediately. Twilight vampire icon played by sex between and Robert Smith, candidate for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart refuses the advances of her sex because she could destroy her and her purity. Sorry for a second, while vomiting. This is just one of the daughters of teenage crap (and dangerous) to have the fantasy to pursue the ideal man. In this right, "child of our affections vampire using children for their own purposes, fomenting more violence, he finally convince him to lead a life of mass murder that can satisfy their thirst for blood. This is the real power dynamics in relationships, and how ties in things get complicated real life by the messy operation and selfishness. These themes are darker than the movies are actually vampires. It is the agony of the chastity before marriage.

Anyone vaguely interested, you know, the real horror has to see this film immediately. A remake in English is in preparation. Please see the original before reaching the inevitable Zac Efron Vanessa Hudgens death of the novel of Hollywood trash novel.

5. Dawn of the Dead (2004)

Directed by Zack Snyder
Clouded consequently useless / crap? It is the sequel. And glorious.

Tele-evangelist: Hell is overflowing, and Satan sending his dead to us. Why? Because you have sex outside of marriage, to kill unborn children have rights in the relations of man, Same-sex marriage. How do you think your God will judge? Well folks, now we know. When more room in hell, the dead walk the earth.

Well, here's where I peed all over the purist of terror in the world, not just say that the new version was better, but omitting the original list altogether. I understand at 78 in the version history, and was light years ahead of other movies terror at that time. The effects were amazing, for starters. But he can never overcome a fundamental difference: the zombies do not run!

Maybe there's a lot of them I would never be able to maneuver my way through the crowd to safety ... well. But I have a chance. In Besides that, I have my mind ... Yes, I fear that my brain eaten, but I would have time to think. As 28 days later, Dawn of the Dead marks a significant change in the genre - with a terrible accent in disarray. Zombies are now coming to you full throttle - so that the margin of error and the response time is very short. An exciting journey, in my opinion.

[Editor note: you can stop and all arguments on how the original was a metaphor for how we, like a sleepwalker through life and society are slaves to routine and and marketing all kinds of crap like that. I do not. Although I did not need Batman I teach the values of privacy, even in the wake of security threat, not the undead need to get on the podium about ... Well, nothing, really. They are the living dead.]

But even more than the thrill of the hunt, Dawn uses many components that we have detailed here and - Humor, Kitsch and a few nods to the genre formula tired, and mixed with strong leadership and decent actors. Amazing what you can make a difference. Add the legendary Richard Cheese "A Down with the sickness ", area covered, that is pure, pure sweetness.

4. Poltergeist (1982)

Directed by Tobe Hooper (If the rumors are that Steven Spielberg project Shephard)
Marked by sequences unnecessary / shit? Yes

Carol Anne: They heeeeeeeere

Craig T Nelson and JoBeth Williams play a couple of adults ex-hippies live a normal life with all its American-3 children, with a new house that has a pool and a picket fence white picket. Suburban expected that, right? Evil begins to notice strange phenomena in the home. Chairs are moved and then stack. unseen forces pull slide objects on the ground. At first, like any good lover of the e-ching-ex-hippie they are pleased with these peculiarities. That changes soon after her youngest daughter starts to have whispered conversations with the static on TV.

People on television shortly after the abduction of young Carol Anne. They fight about who has the right to the chase and the foot of it. Obviously, many films of the use of terror to children at risk for us to work, but is there anything more scary than a bunch of dead guys obsessed with sucking "force life" of a year 8 girl? And primarily engaged in the closet of the girl. Creepy subtext. Pedophilia is not just text.

Family hires paranormal experts to assist in the recovery of young Carol Anne, whose great Zelda Rubinstein as a charlatan exorcist. After Carol Anne is able to return home Zelda said "clean", and how classic horror film, the family decides to proceed normally and stay at home resulting in a final battle with the aggressors of the macabre.

Poltergeist throws the kitchen sink you. crazy clowns, old cemeteries, see a "light" and evil, even while being sucked into a giant vortex in the end. But all bejeesus afraid of you.

Poltergeist is the legend has been greatly enhanced by his alleged damn, primarily from the death of Heather O'Rourke, who played Carol Anne, and Dominique Dunne who played older sister Dana in a few years shooting. Knowing O'Rourke never progressed beyond the girl's fragile little to do here makes it even Poltergeist scary than it was in 1982.

3. Rosemary's Baby (1968)

Directed by Roman Polanski
Marked by sequences unnecessary / shit? Nobody would dare, right?

Rosemary Woodhouse: Oh, my God, Oh my God
Laura-Louise McBirney: Oh, shut up with his "Oh, Gods" or we will kill you, milk or milk, no!

A morbid twist on the classic "make a pact with the devil" story. Instead of asking if he would change his soul for fame and fortune, asking if you would make the trade rather than the soul of his wife and unborn child. It's a wicked parody of ambition in America.

Ruth Gordon and Sydney Blackmar are brilliant as the demented Satanists, the Castavets. Waifish good girl and Mia Farrow is perfectly cast as the mother what ever realizes that the child of her husband, or that of any man. The rape scene Farrow, sold by a list of job quality for her husband stairlift is probably the best scene in horror film history. Absolutely cool.

In addition, this film is infinitely more frightening and relevant when they have kids. Remember that paranoia and fear of pregnancy? Be absolutely sure the child is the direct result of Satan put on earth torment (Or at least make sure they never sleep again), but be compelled by instinct to take care of the little devil anyway? Hair stand on his head just thinking about it.

2. The Thing (1982)

Directed by John Carpenter
Marked by suites unnecessary / shit? No, but a tribute was paid several times - see the excellent episode Ice X-Files

MacReady: How are you, my friend?
Blair: I do not know who to trust
MacReady: Trust is something hard to find these days. Tell Us - Why Can not I just trust the Lord?

The thing was released to fanfare June 1982. It was only two weeks after ET, which devoured the box office with his vision of late foreign and cross-dressing. Spielberg even went so far replace weapons in the original version of ET with walkie-talkies! What should we teach our children?! When the shit goes down (and) our fellow citizens will distribute Spielberg wussified Reeses pieces, while the change in bulk, killing the things we gut our teeth on the bottom.

Anyway, if Spielberg comes to mind when thinking about candy-ass, when you think bad-ass, all is Kurt Russell. Snake Plissken, Jack Burton, and RJ MacReady, "Heroes" Our helicopter pilot on Antarctica. Somewhere central desert of the continent, the Norwegians have always condemned the thing triggered his dream of ice, and the dog is angry. After sending Scandinavians not as clearly, the thing fixed his eyes Shapeshifter Americans.

Well Naturally, it would not be a good horror movie if that was all he had the same thing. Humans know what you're up against. They know he is a traitor in their midst. Paranoia sets, each character is gradually becoming the other, feeding into chaos. Eventually, after almost everyone is dead, Russell fails to call home. He sits and blows across Based on parts, knowing that certain death awaits slow freezing. Eat shit AND

1. The Exorcist (1973)

Directed by William Friedkin
Clouded by unnecessary suites / shit? suites prequels, ... whatsoever. Nothing can tarnish the perfection.

Fr Karras: Well, we'll introduce ourselves. I'm Damien Karras.
Devil: And I am the devil. Now kindly undo these belts.
Fr Karras: If you are the devil, why not make the straps disappear?
Devil: It's too vulgar a demonstration of power, Karras.

I saw The Exorcist in somewhere north of 50 to 60 times, and I can honestly say that the film still sends chills through me. Although there are parts the supernatural, what is alarming is how the keys to the office in the depths of the spirit of Regan and becomes something else.

No wonder why Linda Blair was never able to have a real career in Hollywood - how not to associate to start pushing the crotch of the boy stabbed Exorcist (or, indeed, be a little creeped only when she entered the room)?

More than that, but ... remove the head spinning spider walking unorthodox use of a crucifix, and others, and what is left is a fascinating psychological duel between Father Merrin, Father Karras and the same devil. It is the most fucked up game of chess ever shown on film.

I think not only the scariest movie ever - but perhaps the real horror movie ever. And with these powers, it is an easy choice as the best horror movie of all time.

Zelda OOT Gold Skulltula Walkthrough Part1 (Kid Link)

how do you kill the little shock balls on Zelda Gold for Nintendo?

there's one in the caste near the upper right part of the map.
I can't kill it and it doesn't hurt me, it just pushes me around and it takes away my sword for a little bit.
I can't continue through the caste 'cause it's one of those things where you have to kill everything in that room to open the door.
I could really use some help.
thanks :]

That would be a Bubble. Unfortunately, they cannot be killed. To open the door, you probably have to push a block.
