How long does an MLB all star game last?
As we all know, it's going to be on the 15th at Yankee Stadium. But does the all star game last as long as a regular game, 3 hours?
It lasts about as long as a regular game or abit longer do to the number of pitching changes. You have to consider if the best hitters are beating the best pitchers, there will be more action, more pitching changes, and a longer game, but if the best pitchers are setting down the hitters one after another, the game will go faster. I've seen regular games last less than 2 hrs or more than 5hrs, and those were 9 inning games not even counting the extra inning ones. All Star games will last until the final out of the ninth inning, unless it's tied ,then til the last out of the bottom half of the inning when the score is no longer tied. Just hope there is no rain delays.
