Can you travel in an open bed truck with an incomplete 30pack of beer?
I know there is an open bottle law, but I believe it is ok to travel in an open bed truck with a few beers missing from a complete 30 pack, all of which are sealed.
In most jurisdictions the 'open container' law only deals with bottles, cans, etc. -- if there are less than 30 cans in the case but they're all sealed, you're fine on that score.
If you're traveling *in the truck bed* you're probably not wearing a seatbelt, so you'd be in trouble there, as would any of your passengers if you were driving.
Aside from that, some jurisdictions require that if you're transporting alcohol, even if sealed, it can't be within reach of the driver.
