I want to send confectionary to Brazil from UK through the postal system, am I allowed?
I want to send my friend in Brazil some English chocolate and sweets, but I'm not sure if they would get past customs! Am I allowed to send sweets through the post?
yes, you can send them - as long as its not more than £270 worth! 
You will need to complete a customs form though, but you can get that from the post office.
(I just looked in a Royal Mail booklet about international mailing that I have).
