River from the Capitol - an emerging neighborhood CC
Once the warmer area depressed, the new district of the Capitol along the river is about to become one of the communities of Washington DC. In a mixed-use neighborhood, the old industrial area between the Capitol and the river Anacostia is gradually becoming a center of business combined, urban and entertainment district. More than 9,000 new apartments, condos and lofts were designed in the context of project growth over the next ten years.
