Can you stand on the hood of a car without damaging it?
A light went out over the driveway and my boyfriend insisted that I needed to pull my car up so he could stand on the hood and look at it. I said I was uncomfortable with that idea because it seemed like putting 180lbs on one spot might dent it. He's now angry and refuses to listen to any alternative ways of looking at the light.
Am I right in thinking that hopping up on the hood might be a bad idea? It's a Kia Rio, if that makes a difference.
Your right not to let him stand on your hood. That poor Kia wouldn't stand a chance. I believe you need to find a better boyfriend. If he's mad at you cause he's too (cheap, lazy, dumb, etc) to get and use a ladder, you should find a better boyfriend. Even monkeys know to use tools.
