Where can I get the old style of Crisco?
Now that Crisco changed their formula in the US my recipes don't work as well. I'm looking for where I can get some of the old formulation with the trans fat in it.
Since they changed the formulation to eliminate trans fat from Crisco it doesn't work in my recipes. They do not have the old style in any grocers anywhere around here (MI) anymore. Is there anywhere I can still find the good stuff with the trans fat still in it?
This is interesting because I didn't know it would make a difference with cooking. You can try Walmart's brand, I think it's called Great Value. Maybe they haven't changed their recipe......yet.
